Here at Elu, we create beautiful handmade jewellery.
Founded by the love of health, wellbeing and modern design. Gemstones and pearls are used in many of our designs to support your wellbeing and uplift you.
Each gemstone contains different empowering properties. Making a perfect gift to someone special in your life or something you love to keep for yourself.
I chose the name Elu because the meaning of Elu is “full of Grace” Grace was my grandmothers name. My grandmother was very important person in my life. She was a hard working, loving amazing person who was full of smiles and fun. Elu and Grace mean beautiful and here at Elu we aim to make every piece of jewellery beautiful just for you.

Eco friendly packaging
Sustainability is very important to us here at Elu jewellery. We have ensured our packaging is 100% recyclable and eco friendly with our jewellery boxes being made using FSC®-certified natural cardboard and water-based glue. Each jewellery box insert contains a velvety topcoat made from viscose; a natural by-product from wood production. The ribbon and tissue paper we source is also recyclable and made in an energy efficient factory, resulting in a reduced carbon footprint from manufacturers. In addition to this, being made from wood pulp cellulose makes our ribbon much more environmentally friendly than alternatives.
THE TISSUE PAPER WE USE HERE AT ELU IS 100% VEGAN AND PH NEUTRAL, MAKING IT ECO-FRIENDLY.
For our postage, we use a plastic free packaging tape made from renewable kraft paper that is acid free as well as water and solvent resistant. We use eco-friendly postal boxes made from sturdy FSC®-certified corrugated cardboard to ensure your jewellery arrives safely. Our recommended method of packaging disposal is to leave the tape on the box and put it in cardboard recycling.
As a company it’s important to us to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We are always looking at ways to improve.

Jewellery Care
Jewellery including jewellery made from solid gold can tarnish over time. Regular care and maintenance is essential to prolong the sparkle of your jewellery. A soft, lint-free cloth made for jewellery care will help you wipe away marks left by the body natural oils, fragrances and lotions, keeping your Elu jewellery looking beautiful.
Care Tips:
Try to remove your jewellery before;
*Sleeping to help to stop damage and breakage.
*Showering and before applying perfumes and sprays.
*Swimming, exercising to avoid sweat.
When your jewellery is not being worn we recommend with necklaces they are securely fastened to stop them getting tangled and knotted. We also recommend storing each item separately in a location that's dry, cool, and away from light to prevent tarnish caused by pollution, sunlight exposure and moisture. Always make sure your jewellery is dry before storing.
To minimise tarnish when not wearing your jewellery, place it in an airtight container or bag. Usually unless tarnish has been the result of exposure to specific chemicals, a polishing cloth can be used to give you jewellery a quick polish or dipping solutions can restore your jewellery's original luster but remember to avoiding the solution on pearls an gemstones. Cleaning them instead with a slightly dampened soft cloth and dry before storing away.
At Elu we prefer to focus on creating timeless designs that are beautiful, classy, and multifunctional. Many items are made with natural semi-precious gemstones and pearls therefore, there will be some variability in sizes, shapes and colours. Each piece of jewellery will be beautifully made, care and attention goes into choosing each specially selected gemstone and the materials used.
Shipping
Your handcrafted order takes up to 2-5 working days to make before we can despatch. Although we aim to make up your orders as soon as we can, so it maybe made within the same day of your order. We will then ship your order from our studio in Surrey UK.
UK ORDERS:
Sent free with tracked Delivery (1-3 working days + up to 5 days making.
Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland will be sent with Royal Mail Signed For (1-4 working days delivery + 5 days making time).
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Unfortunately at the moment we are only shipping to the uk. We hope to be delivering internationally soon.

*Please note Elu is not responsible for any taxes, duties or hold-ups at customs on international orders. We know it can be frustrating but unfortunately we can’t control these charges, or tell you the cost, as customs policies and import duties vary by country. Please contact your local customs office to check the current charges.
LAST ORDER DATES FOR CHRISTMAS:
We recommend that you place your orders for Christmas as early as possible. Delivery times may have some delays during the busy Christmas season.
Please note that the dates below are estimates based on information from the postal service. Some packages may be subject to delays in transit and we cannot guarantee that all orders will arrive in time for Christmas.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Please ensure that the address on your order is correct and is a secure location for delivery. All of our packages are sent with tracking and we cannot offer refunds for packages that have been delivered to the correct address, but which have been lost or stolen before being collected by the intended recipient.
MY ORDER HASN’T ARRIVED?
Please contact the postal service directly with your tracking number. The tracking number is on your shipping confirmation email.
Exchanges & Returns
At Elu our beautiful jewellery is handmade so each piece is unique, therefore the finish is different to machine-made jewellery.
We hope you are delighted with your order but we do understand that occasionally you may want to return or exchange something.
If you have any problems, please contact us on receipt of your item, with a photograph.
Be sure to include your name, address and order number or else we won’t be able to identify your order.

PLEASE NOTE:
** Each items of jewellery is quality checked and photographed before it is sent out**
We accept returns and exchanges on certain items in it’s original packaging, within 14 days of receipt, provided the item has not been worn, washed, damaged with no marks and has not been tailor-made, customised or personalised.
**Please contact us before returning the item.
We will not refund items which are returned without contacting us first. Once contacting us, after a return is agreed, please dispatch the item to us within 7 days.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return postage and for any customs charges incurred by sending an item back. We recommend that you obtain tracking or proof of posting. The item remains your responsibility until it reaches us.
Unless the item is faulty, we will only refund the cost of the item. We will not refund the cost of shipping the item to the customer. We will only refund you using the same payment method you used at the time of ordering.
We do not offer exchanges or returns on:
- earrings - for hygiene reasons.
- personalised items.
- customised or custom-made items, including bridal jewellery.
made to order and customised to the length and specifications of the customer.
- rings which are made to order.
It is the responsibility of the buyer to:
select the correct length for bracelets and necklaces
select the correct size for rings
to leave us the correct spelling for names or initials on jewellery.
choose the correct gem stone wanted.
to put the correct address on your order.
Cancellations:
Items are hand made to order therefore we are unable to offer order cancellation.
The customer is responsible for any customs charges upon receipt of the order.
Our customers are treated courtesy and care. We reserve the right not to serve customers who do not reciprocate.
